Martin Freeman to Charlotte Chaffee on August 2nd, 1880
This letter is addressed to Martin Freemans' friend Charlotte and his experience for the last 16 years while in Liberia. Specifically, he discusses how Liberia is not going to plan how he had originally envisioned, yet, he is hopeful. It should be noted that there may be more pages of the original letter than the transcription because of the larger handwriting on the original copy of the letter.
